I am toying with this for dc3, if she is a girl.

I also like Summer (due in July)

I'm really, really stuck for boys - I only really like Isaac!

I like it, but both Summer and Skye are quite popular here so they're becoming a bit ubiquitous - not sure if that bothers you?

fabuleux · 26/02/2015 20:46

Love Skyla and Skyra!

Koalafications · 26/02/2015 20:24

I don't like it at all.

Isaac is a lovely boys name, though.

Treesandbees · 26/02/2015 20:19

My boss just had a Skye. Thought it was a lovely name and a beautiful place!

Smileyaxolotl1 · 26/02/2015 16:27

skyra just to make you jealous, I am expecting a girl soon and she will be Skye. If baby had been a boy he would be Logan too! X

twomorecats · 25/02/2015 21:04

All 3 names sound lovely.

skyra13 · 25/02/2015 09:03

What about Skyra

ScaryChicken · 24/02/2015 18:41

I like Skye

For boys:
Seth
Saul
Ishmael
Caleb
Jonah

My friend has just named her baby Skye, it is quite a popular name atm, not sure if you were going for unusual, or popular.

GingerLDN · 23/02/2015 18:47

I don't like Skye, I don't like Isla, hate the name Iona. I'm scottish too. Actually come to think of it I don't know if I like any scottish names really! Summer is quite nice. Although quite hippy/girly sounding is there a way to shorten if she chooses to?

RedHairedGeek · 23/02/2015 18:20

I like it. I'm part Scottish though.

Stardustnight · 23/02/2015 16:30

I don't think I'm as keen on nature names for boys, as a lot of them sound either feminine (to me) or a bit pretentious. Lewis is okay but as a general rule I don't like surnames as first names.

Leeds2 · 23/02/2015 16:22

I love Skye and Summer.

Not keen on Isaac.

okeydonkey · 23/02/2015 15:55

And isaac

okeydonkey · 23/02/2015 15:55

LOVE Skye

museumum · 23/02/2015 15:54

I like Skye but it's quite popular round here (scottish central belt), though not as popular as Isla which I love but would never use as it's just too popular here.

Boys - Harris or Lewis? if islands are your thing?
Or nature-y - Orion? Ash?

RainbowFlutterby · 23/02/2015 15:46

The prettiest little girl I have ever met is called Skye. It suits her perfectly. Smile

DramaAlpaca · 23/02/2015 15:42

I love Skye.

LittleBairn · 23/02/2015 15:37

I like Skye it was on our list at one point.

Qwebec · 23/02/2015 14:03

Cedar?

Skye is v nice
Skyler can be used for a boy.

Heleng1982 · 23/02/2015 13:19

I know a Skye Anna I think it's a gorgeous name Smile

squoosh · 23/02/2015 13:11

I really like Skye and think it's so much nicer than Iona/Isla.

Stardustnight · 23/02/2015 13:04

I'm not keen on Rowan - I know it is a name that can be used for both but I think it sounds really feminine. Plus it makes me think of Rowan Atkinson Grin

OP posts:
Thumbcat · 23/02/2015 12:59

I know siblings who are Skye and Summer. The parents liked Rowan for a boy.

shitebag · 23/02/2015 12:51

I like all 3 of your names.

I don't know any Isaacs but know 7 Skye's under the age of 8 its also my 10yo dogs name and 4 Summers too.
