I'm starting to think we will never find a name for our blue bump.
I liked Reuben because it was a bit different but in the last couple of months its popularity seems to have grown. I also liked Elliot until I seen in stuck on a portable toilet being driven down the m5 ??
Also like Jenson and Brodie but not sure I'm brave enough!!!!
Really need your inspiration.

what are your motivations? you're looking for something a bit different/not common I think? Smile

We are having similar issues with boys names for DC2, due in 10 days. Personally I am not keen on Reuben. I do like Elliott but know quite a few. If I had my way out boys name woild be Blair but DH says definite no. Brodie is on our shortlist. I don't think it is particularly out there. It was DHs addition which surprised me as his other suggestion was Stuart. Others on our short list are pretty safe:
Cameron
Connor
James

Its so difficult. Think I want something you don't hear all the time but not too unusual that no one has ever heard of it.
OH likes Brodie, which surprised me too. He usually likes the more traditional names like Oliver and Jack.

I also want something unusual but not made up or that no one has heard off. Brodie has really grown on me.

imsorryiasked · 21/02/2015 19:40

How about Robin? Similar to Reuben but more unusual.

Aprilbaby24 · 22/02/2015 00:11

We have agreed on Robin as a middle name, not keen on using it as a first name as don't like Rob if it gets shortened.

I like Reuben and Elliott, Reuben is becoming quite popular around here though. If you like Elliott, what about Elias or Elijah?

PrincessOfChina · 22/02/2015 10:28

Reuben is on our list. We also have
Charlton
Chester
Dexter
Dominic
Elliot
Malachi
Rafferty
Rafe
Sebastian

Aprilbaby24 · 22/02/2015 17:46

I like Malachi. Have been relooking at lists today. I'm also warming towards Aedan and Fergus.
Will we ever find a name ??
