I have put a photo on my profile page and was wondering if you'd be so kind as to say which of the following names she "looks like"...

Alexandra
Charlotte
Caitlin
Eleanor
Elizabeth
Emma
Natalie
Sophia

Hopefully you can access the pic by clicking my name and then selecting photo gallery. Thanks in advance.

Oh I didn't see the list.
Most like a Charlotte then.

kilmuir · 22/02/2015 12:34

i knew straight away they were oldie pics.
i would wait until she is born.
my third DD looked nothing like the name we had picked

ch1134 · 22/02/2015 12:31

Catherine (she's beautiful).

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 21/02/2015 22:59

Who is she and want is her name.

Treaclepot · 21/02/2015 22:40

Charlotte

reuset · 21/02/2015 22:38

Why do you want us to guess?

reuset · 21/02/2015 22:37

That's an old photo is it not? 'Baby' grown up now?

Haven't a clue which name fits.

mrstowers · 21/02/2015 22:30

Emma

MerryMarigold · 21/02/2015 19:37

Naming is totally subjective it seems.

Well, blow me down with a feather!

MerryMarigold · 21/02/2015 19:36

All shades of brown for me too. But I'd go for Caitlin from the picture, but Natalie from the picture age.

MyBootsAreMuddy · 21/02/2015 19:32

Charlotte or Natalie

pilates · 21/02/2015 19:23

Eleanor

FunMitFlags · 21/02/2015 19:18

Natalie

Not an Emma

LooWaterSunset · 21/02/2015 09:30

Haha. So many differences of opinion.

Naming is totally subjective it seems.

Caitlin.

Fantastic name.

Always makes me smile, as the pics did.

mathanxiety · 21/02/2015 07:32

Natalie (actually my first thought was Leslie but it's not on your list.)

neme · 20/02/2015 20:04

I think she is an Eleanor.

SoupDragon · 20/02/2015 19:57

For sure the colour of the first pic and the clothing of the second pic make it obvious (pink shirt and green something over the top - probably the height of fashion back then).

Its all shades of brown on my screen. No pink, no green. So no, it isn't obvious.

zoobaby · 20/02/2015 19:31

SoupDragon born in the 60s! Puh-lease! Grin

Yes these are old photos (Nadia is correct with her 70s guess). For sure the colour of the first pic and the clothing of the second pic make it obvious (pink shirt and green something over the top - probably the height of fashion back then).

It is me and I thought I'd just ask for a bit of fun to see what people say. I actually agree with Manic that a baby can't really look like like a name. But there are some people, my DH included, who are trying to tell me I should wait til the new baby is born before naming her. We had a name already for DS and when he arrived we all just said "oh that's what X looks like".

Obviously my not-yet-born DD will have to contend with 50% DNA from her dad, so it's not a cert that she'll even look anything like this fingers crossed she takes after my side.

shipsinthenight · 20/02/2015 18:55

Natalie or Emma

OutragedFromLeeds · 20/02/2015 17:36

Charlotte

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 20/02/2015 17:36

Eleanor.

AnneOfCleavage · 20/02/2015 17:34

I immediately thought Emma but actually it could be any of the E names.

Is the pic of you and people can't believe you have a name that didn't fit with the era or something?

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 20/02/2015 17:25

She looks like a Natalie

SoupDragon · 20/02/2015 16:55

Why do you want us to guess the name of a child born in the 60s? Judging by the lack of colour and general aged look to the photo.
