I think of Cora from the Agatha Christie novel After the Funeral. Particularly because there was a creepy picture on the front of the edition I had Hmm

But I'm a bit weird Smile

It's a really pretty name.

I've never been able to stand more than 5 minutes of Downton Abbey, so I didn't know there was a character called Cora.
I really like the name though. The first person I think of is Cora Pearl.

I don't watch Eastenders or Downton, have no prior association with the name & it makes me think of apples.

Very pretty though, I like it.

I have a Cora and never seen Downton Abbey! I became aware of the character shortly before she was born and the Eastenders one after she arrived. I am a little gutted its getting quite popular thanks to these shows! I think of the little girl Cora in Titanic :)

I thought of Agatha Christie too! There is an eccentric Cora who gets murdered in one of the Poirot books.

OP, I think of dreadful Cora in Downton, but it doesn't put me off a such such a lovely name. Coralie is also gorgeous.

Corah Corman is a pop star/shakira lookalike in the low key (I.e. PG rated) romcon film 'Music and Lyrics', which my children like.
