Katie,
Abigail or,
Naomi

Trying to decide on the forerunner for dc3, if it is a girl!

PS I do agree about Katie having either a long or short variant i.e Katherine/Kate but one of the issues is that one of our other dds has a different variant of this as one of her middle names...but I didn't mention that before as I just wondered what folk thought of the stand alone names! Smile

Thank you so much for all your responses! Due this week and been having a wobble all through as it seems hard to choose a name for a dd3 if this dc is a girl!! Am surprised by the majority going for Naomi but quietly pleased!! We had been thinking Katie but I just wasn't sure so wanted to gather some opinions (as we don't tell anyone in RL!!) before speaking to dh this morning...

So thank you all for your help! I will return to let you know what we chose if it's a girl!! But I think it will be Naomi Smile thank you!

All of them are lovely names but I'd go for Naomi

Abigail is pretty but there seem to be lots of them around atm

Katie is nice too but I'd go for Kate or Katherine as her official name

2/3 were on our short list! I love Naomi but we were both agreed on Abigail so that's what we chose :)

Abigail. (Quite like Naomi though). But if you gave 'Katie' the official name of Katherine/Catherine/Katharine (classic!) and called her Katie for short, then I'd say that was the nicest. Or you could use Caitlin instead. To me, Katie always seems very little-girly for a grown woman, although nice enough.
