uncommon but not 'crazy' girls names

i was hoping people could suggest me some sensible girls names that you're not going to hear shouted by a dozen different parents in a small playground. my top list right now is:

Melina (Greek name), Rosalie, Rosemary, Martina, Norma and Adelaide

I also love Wanda and Mistym but I think they sound a bit airy-fairy too. My boyfriend likes gender-neutral names and has his heart set on Robin which I like, but don't love.

Aisling [Ash-lin] could be a minefield for pronunciation.

Naomi was popular once, but seems to have gone out of fashion, but I still like it

TheCatAteMyTaxReturn · 17/02/2015 22:26

I've always liked Anya, TheWindowDonkey Aurora seems to crop up a lot in lists like these, though I've yet to hear of a girl actually called that

Mariana [from the poem or the painting]

Melinda [good enough for Bill Gates' wife]

Amelie

Carina

Serena

Maya/ Maia

There seems to be quite a few Freyas and Isabel[la]s around at the moment, those two might have peaked.

Thisismyfirsttime · 17/02/2015 22:26

I like Jaime as a gender neutral name or Veronica/ Ronnie, Samantha/ Sam, Taya, Constance/Connie, Lyra, Roxanne/ Roxy, and Freya.

I think Robin's on the rise if you're worried about there potentially being a clash in the playground.

my favourite (can't use for personal reasons)Hmm is

Constance nn Connie

but second a PP regarding Veronica nn Ronnie. this was my #1 until my labour and was my midwifes name so didn't want to use it anymore!! (blame the hormones!!)
