I like Francesca or Sophie best. All the others are a bit ugly.

Koalafications · 14/02/2015 09:31

I've googled 'Paloma horse' and there are a few links, nothing to get worked up about though.

I like Abigail and Imogen. Least favourite is paloma I'm afraid. Reminds me of a horse as well not sure why.

wesH · 14/02/2015 09:26

Freya, Sophie and Abigail are the nicest. I'd lean towards Abigail as the other two are so popular though.

Francesca and Imogen are okay (Francesca sounds a bit frumpy though), Paloma is awful - sounds like a dessert!!

Mehitabel6 · 14/02/2015 09:25

I didn't say so- just that Palmona sounded like a horse (sorry)

Koalafications · 14/02/2015 09:19

Grin sorry Mehitabel

Sophie and Abigail were my favourites from your list!

Koalafications · 14/02/2015 09:13

Ignore the erroneous ?

Thank you all for your thoughts, really interesting.

Strongest reaction was about Soohie, that's surprising. Probably because it is quite 'vanilla'.

DH isn't sure about Paloma whereas I think it's great.

Abigail is my least favourite and it doesn't seem to be very popular here either.?

Francesca - like, good nicknames
Freya - weedy
Sophie - SO SO SO SO SO BORING (all my friends have a daughter called Sophie, I feel as though I'm in a Sophie cult)
Abigail - nice if a bit sensible
Imogen - like
Paloma - love and adore. I command you to pick this name.

Petal7 · 13/02/2015 22:49

I love Sophie. Beautiul name and meaning

Sophronia · 13/02/2015 22:49

I like Sophie and Paloma.

Notso · 13/02/2015 22:47

Francesca is what I would choose to be called if I could pick my own name. I adore it. I really like the NN Frankie too.

Imogen is also one of my favourite girls names.

Sophie and Freya are nice but slightly ' eh' from overuse.

Abigail, no. Don't like Abby and I don't like Gail.

Paloma. It's I name I want to like because I love Paloma Faith but I just don't like it.

applecatchers36 · 13/02/2015 22:42

Sophie, Imogen and Freya are all pretty, popular names at the moment

Not keen on Abigail or Paloma

JoanJettPack · 13/02/2015 22:36

I love Imogen and Paloma.

MiniTheMinx · 13/02/2015 22:33

I like Paloma, because I know one and she is lovely
Imogen is nice too

Teanbiscuitsallround · 13/02/2015 22:31

Love Sophie- think its a really pretty name.

Like Imogen and Freya too.

Paloma is my least fav too on that list.

NadiaWadia · 13/02/2015 22:30

Sophie, Imogen and Francesca are all lovely. Also quite like Abigail and Paloma. Not that keen on Freya.

Mehitabel6 · 13/02/2015 22:30

Not Paloma- sounds like a horse.
Rest fine.

Noggie · 13/02/2015 22:27

I absolutely hate the NN Frankie so it certainly wouldn't be one I would use.

Sophie popular in the top 100 charts but I don't know any!

OP posts:
Twistedheartache · 13/02/2015 22:02

Love all of them apart from Francesca & that's more because of the nn Frankie
We obviously have very similar taste. I now have a Sophie because it was the name both of us agreed on & we know too many Abigail's.

Koalafications · 13/02/2015 21:58

Ooh interesting, thank you all Smile

Sophie and Abigail aren't very popular then? Or is that they are too popular!

OP posts:
NerdyBird · 13/02/2015 21:57

my dds name is on that list. Paloma is my least favourite of those.
