Girl's name that fits with our surname

Hello,
Our surname is S mith. Tricky finding a girl's name that goes with this as ones ending in s/th seem not to sound right and also anything too mainstream might make for a too common whole name. Please suggest things to me!

Go for something slightly "foreign" like Paloma or Magaly or Clodagh. My mum's name is like that, a foreign name with a v common english sur name and she has no problem getting her own email address, not having 100 namesakes etc...

I think a child with the surname S-mith deserves a slightly unusual first name. You just cannot call her Ellie or Isabelle or Ruby.

Paloma as suggested above sounds gorgeous.

I have a similar dilemma as our surname is J ones! I think 2 or 3 syllable names work well (flows better than e.g. Kate S mith), and that going for a more unusual choice is a good idea. Was just coming on to suggest Tabitha, but squoosh got there first! Love Paloma too.

One syllable surnames are great because it means you can have loads of syllables for a first name Smile. We have a one syllable (although fairly unusual) and DD has a 4 syllable first name! I think you can get away with all sorts with Smith.

With your surname I think it would best suit a first name with 2-3 syllables like.
