My mom's name is Helena, though she goes by her middle name. If I could choose one of those names to be called myself, I'd go for Genevieve - but definitely wouldn't let anyone shorten it!

I'm not keen on Cleo, I agree with your DH.

The others are all lovely!
But though I like Helena very much she might end up as Ellie/Ellen which is very popular ATM.
I really love Genevieve, but again you might get the Eve/Evie nn.
So Sylvie or Adele would be my choice.

I like Helena. Agree that Sylvie is a good middle name. Don't like Adele (purely on the basis it is the singer, although I do like her!) but really like Adela. Not keen Cleo.

I think Cleo but DH (I just asked him) thinks this is a strippers name. He likes Helena.
