Do people really hate this name? I love it but it seems many others think it's awful! I don't want a name that everyone hates but equally I want a name we love! Thank you in advance

I always think a couple who name their child Rupert are desperate to be seen as posh.

I hope it is getting more popular, I would love to see more around than the handful of Ruperts there are at the moment.

It's a true Marmite name. People generally have a strong opinion on it one way or the other. Seems to be rising steadily in popularity so obviously has its fans.

I think people often see it as exceptionally posh which puts them off.
