invisiblecrown · 25/01/2015 20:47

Hello!

DH and I have narrowed it down to 4 names. DD3 will be joining siblings Basil, Charis and Mirabel.

Middle name will be Pearl or Alba.

Briar
Claudia
Hero
Vivian/Vivienne

Am now leaning towards Coral Vivienne.

Ok, we have it down to:

Claudia Coral
or
Vivienne (spelling still unsure) Alba

Vivienne is a gorgeous name and would be top of my list if I were to have another dd. Claudia is quite nice but doesn't really compare to Vivienne imo. I'm not keen on Briar or Hero tbh. I love your other dc's names particularly Mirabel Blythe, just beautiful.

velvetmoon · 27/01/2015 12:05

Claudia's lovely. Briar's quite nice too, but I'm not sure it goes so well with Basil.

NadiaWadia · 26/01/2015 18:50

Agree about the 'Vivien' spelling. Probably because of Vivien Leigh. That's my second favourite, first would be Claudia, like the previous poster.

marshmallowpies · 26/01/2015 18:38

Love Claudia as that's what our soon to be DD2 will be, hopefully, but alongside Charis might be a bit confusing. (Our DD1's name starts with M and I'm avoiding a repeat of the same initial otherwise I'd be using Meredith!)

Otherwise, Vivien is my preference. (Prefer that spelling to Vivienne), Hero and Briar would both be good middle names but wouldn't use as a first name. Briony I do love, though...

toddlerwrangling · 26/01/2015 16:34

Not as keen on Coral - if you say all the children's names together the similar L sound at the end kind of clashes with Mirabel.

UnrelatedToElephants · 26/01/2015 16:07

Coral is very very nice but you'll have two Miss C Crown's in the house.

Vivienne Alba is swoonworthy though.

eachtigertires · 26/01/2015 14:09

I like coral more than any of the others

CrispyFern · 26/01/2015 14:09

I don't like Coral.

Maybe because it makes me think of the Walking Dead threads on here though, and the boy Carl/Coral.

LollyLondon · 26/01/2015 13:48

Vivienne or Claudia

Great names btw!

invisiblecrown · 26/01/2015 13:45

I am still not closer to narrowing it down Confused

I like Briar. And Coral.

invisiblecrown · 26/01/2015 10:14

DH has thrown Coral into the mix this morning, which my sleep deprived brain is loving. Maybe a middle name?

Fab names!

If it's any help I teach a Hira, a similar sound to Hero?

Love Claudia Pearl by the way!

Guin1 · 26/01/2015 05:11

Vivienne Pearl

rockinrobintweet · 25/01/2015 22:23

Claudia is my favourite. i adore the middle name Pearl too!

i agree with PP however that Briar and Basil don't seem to go together in my opinion.

Hero is very 'cool', i don't agree with the bullying comment, it's one of those names i would love to know someone who used it, but wouldn't be ballsy enough to use it myself!!

invisiblecrown · 25/01/2015 22:17

Thank you squoosh! That is an absolute compliment to me!

DH is gutted our 4th and final child is a girl, as he has wanted to use Leonidas for years. I am relieved!

Your children sound as though they should be in a 1930's kids' adventure story!

I think Claudia is my favourite but Briar fits in more with the vibe you've already got going.

invisiblecrown · 25/01/2015 21:37

Hero isn't any more out there than my other kids' names!

OP posts:
ChippingInLatteLover · 25/01/2015 21:32

Briar. I think it goes best with the others.

Hero. I just couldn't use that, it's far too 'out there' for me. I think it would attract a lot of bullying.

Briar Pearl.

Allalonenow · 25/01/2015 21:31

I think Hero Alba is a fabulous name, streets head of Vivienne.

Artandco · 25/01/2015 21:30

Vivienne Pearl

invisiblecrown · 25/01/2015 21:28

Haha, I am Mancunian! Not lived there for a very long time, but still very very Manc at heart!

Oh and I also agree on Hero Vivienne. Lovely!
