Sebastian, Joshua, Thomas and... (probably a boy)

All DSs have two middle names and by the time DS3 came along I had exhausted my ideas and used all the names I liked.

Almost certainly not a girl but have no real ideas there either.

Can't use Zachary, Matthew, James, Ian, David, Cameron, Isaac or Felix.

Would prefer not to repeat a first letter (so no J T or S names).

Surname begins with E, three-syllable, not unusual.

Please help!

I quite like Nathaniel but DH hates it.

The first name that popped into my head was Oscar.

Don't be put off Theo because the 'T' repeats. I ruled out loads of lovely names for ds2 (dh's ds3) because of this, and now kind of regret it. Thomas and Theo sound lovely together. If, like me, you were worried about post getting confused, just rememeber that pretty much everything is done online these days! (and if they have different initials for their middle names, that will help differentiate).

Theo Alexander looks good I think.

We really wanted a name that meant something, but couldn't agree on any, so went with names we just happened to like and agree on

I also like Caspar/Caspian/Blake/Jacob/Joseph/Leon.

Good luck!

I like Michael but not Mike - I know it's not my decision what the DCs decide to go by but I'd like to like the short version too.

I've always liked Theodore/Theo but don't want to repeat a T.

Oliver could be Olly which I like but I don't like Ol. The one-syllable thing is a good point.

Joshua is Josh. Others prefer their full names so far (well, Sebastian is Sebby sometimes at home).

I do like names that can be shortened ie Nathaniel could be Nathan or Nate. DH has gone by Alex and Zander and various times of his life and enjoys the flexibility.

Do or will your DC have shortened versions of their names? Even if not now, they might do as teens or adults - so if they're Seb, Josh and Tom it might be good to have a name that can also shorten to a one syllable nickname in a similar way?
