Confessions - names you love but will never use

Just as title really. I have a theory that everyone has a baby name that they love but will never/ have never got to use. Mine is Silas, always adored it but DH (and almost everyone else in rl) hates it. My mum's is Toby, she's tried to get us to use it but we haven't obliged. Would anyone else care to share?

Harper. Damn Beckhams. Plus, it sounds shit with my surname.

Nina. Lovely name.

Never used because (a) I have DSs, and (b) it would have really bothered my father, who associated it with somebody pretty unpleasant.

Maeve and Rosaline.
...and lots of boys names but without sons what can you do?

Palooza · 16/01/2015 18:20

Sindri and
Lysander. Names I wanted for DS2 and 3.

They are not called Sindri and Lysander Sad

Roxanne

Whenever I mention I like it im told it's a 'chav/stripper/prostitues' name. I think it's lovely but sadly the alliteration with my DPs surname means it doesn't work Sad

Cordelia and Perdita - apparently too tragic to use. And Peter doesn't go with our surname.
