The more I say it, the more I like it.
I think it's lovely and I like it as it's not in the top 200, some opinions when I've sounded it out have been quite negative, Jodie Marsh, chavy etc..

Mn opinions please...

I think Jody for a boy is very cool.

Jodie is nice but maybe needs a few years to mellow into its own.

I just think Kelly ripa is so glam! Makes me like Kelly.

Jody is much nicer than judy!

There are several in dcs year! Well, the mums anyway. All nice women so have good associations. I do, however, prefer Judy.

My friend called her baby Jodie. I can't say I was that keen on it. It does sound a bit dated to my ears.

I'd rather a Jodie/ Kelly revival than a Pamela and Barbara revival. Because jodie is 80s it seems more fun to me than Ethel and Mavis.

It's my cousin's name, she's 14. I'm not particularly keen on it but it's very sweet on her.

I was at school with one I couldn't stand so it has negative connotations for me. That aside, it's quite a nice name.

I know lots of Jodie's in their mid thirties so it's a very 70's/80's name to me.

I really like it but i'm another one who thinks names like Margaret/Mabel and Ethel are awful even though they are very popular locally.

I knew a few in the 80s too - I think of it as quite an 80s name. It is quite sweet, but I'm not sure it's quite ready for a return yet. Having said that, Jodie Kidd wears it well - so maybe I'm talking nonsense.

No. Jodie is pure 70s/80s to me, and not in a good way. Sisters would be Tammy and Kelly.
