I know a Bonnie with the full name Bonnita.

I'm Scottish so it's a description rather than a name to me and agree that it would be a bit awkward if the baby wasn't bonnie.

Love. I have a cousin in her 20s called Bonnie.
I also love Bessie, similarly sweet and old fashioned.

I don't like it. It definitely sounds like a dog's name but then the BP dog was called Bonnie in my era.

I know one toddler who is quite cute so it has grown on me. However, I would not saddle a child with this name in case she happened to be the opposite of 'Bonnie'!

Lovely. I know several Ozzies with this name. All mid 20-30ish. I liked it. Dh didn't consider it a name, more a compliment. Humph.

Also a lovely blue Peter dog and a bitch of a grey pony when I was a kid. Scotland would be great, that bonnie Bonnie girl.
