What could Box be short for?

I saw the name Box suggested on another thread and love it. However DH thinks we may need a longer name on the birth certificate. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Also, should we go for Boxx or just stick with the traditional spelling?

Boxanne

Allalonenow · 05/01/2015 23:21

If there are any Irish family links, Boxty is cute!

Fozzleyplum · 05/01/2015 23:17

Muddiboots, if we'd followed that policy, DS2 would have been Poobum or similar. DS1 was going through a scatological toddler phase when his brother arrived.

Muddiboots · 05/01/2015 23:07

You may laugh but there is a boy in my sons year at school called " box " that's it, not short for anything. Parents let each child name the subsequent one, hence one child with normal name, rest have very " unusual " names

Allalonenow · 05/01/2015 22:29

For twins you could use Inbox and Outbox

GlitzAndGigglesx · 05/01/2015 22:21

Or an archeologist called Box has rocks. Ok I'm getting a tad carried away

GlitzAndGigglesx · 05/01/2015 22:19

Or a sexual health doctor called Box blocks cocks

Sidge · 05/01/2015 22:15

He should be a geologist called Box of Rocks.

LineRunner · 05/01/2015 21:55

Or he can open a hair salon called Box has Locks

GlitzAndGigglesx · 05/01/2015 21:50

If he ever becomes a locksmith his company can be called 'Box has lox'

Fozzleyplum · 05/01/2015 21:48

"Box" as in an alternative slang word for "fanjo"? Hmmm... A wind up methinks.
