My other half and I are massive London history fans and are thinking of Tyburn as a first name for our baby boy. It's one of the names of Londons original rivers and was also the original name for Oxford St called Tyburn Road.
Yes it does also have a reference to the gallows at Tyburn cross! But we're not put off by that. Pronounced tie - burn.
Short would be Ty.
