Hi ya all Smile

My baby will be called Eleanor (family name Biggin) and I need a middle name that goes well with both of them. I like how Eleanor and Biggin sound well together and I am worried a lame middle name would ruin everything.I don't mind an old fashioned/ modern name as long as it sounds great with the rest. Any ideas?

Of the names suggested, I really like Eleanor Jean, sounds lovely.

I think Eleanor Jane is lovely.

How about Eleanor Joy?

Rose is a nice name, though I am not sure about the association EleaNOR- ROse.

Not too keen on names inspired by popular TV shows/movies. :/

My daughter is Eleanor Anwen though for my own childish amusement I once convinced her her middle name was Handbasket.

I have an Eleanor Lilly.

DD is Eleanor Roisin (which is Rose in Irish, DSIL is Roisin and my greatgrandmother was Rose so it has family connections).

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 24/12/2014 21:22

If I'd had a DD instead of DSs she'd have been Eleanor May.

For some reason Mary makes a good link between Eleanor and Biggins...

Deerhound · 24/12/2014 21:19

Ooh, I like Eleanor lily. Eleanor Mary also good

Biscuitsneeded · 24/12/2014 21:15

I am Eleanor Jane (thank you, parents of good taste in the early 70s!) but I think Eleanor Mary is lovely too.

TheHorseHasBolted · 24/12/2014 21:07

I've known two nice girls called Eleanor Grace so that was my first thought, but I also love the suggestion of Eleanor Mary.

iusedtobecool · 24/12/2014 20:43

Eleanor Lily?

CrimboHornedSnowflake · 24/12/2014 20:32

Not Eleanor Claire! That's my name and you forever get Eclair jokes

SillyPops · 24/12/2014 20:28

Claire springs to mind for me! I think it needs to be a fairly short name

airedailleurs · 24/12/2014 20:28

sorry just seen your post dismissing Grace...

airedailleurs · 24/12/2014 20:27

Mary was the first name I thought of too...Grace is very nice, maybe even nicer than Mary...

Mine is Eleanor Katherine, which I love :)

You definitely need a classic name with Eleanor.
