Heard a lovely, chubby, smiley toddler being addressed as this in a shop yesterday.
Does anyone know of any other little Dorcases around. I thought that name had died a death.

Never met one, it reminds me a of a cross between dork and orca (whale). Not good associations!

My mum suggested Dorcas for pending DC1......... I remember being about 11 and meeting a HORRIBLE girl called Dorcas, and being about her name. I also thought the reason she was horrible must be because she had been bullied about being called DORCAS.

"Sounds like a pincushion"???!! Haha I have never heard that before. What does that mean?

I did know one years ago but she would be over 50 now.
