Just that really. This is dd3 and we are struggling to find a name, but do like this. Would you say Rom-illy or Ro-milly? What do you think of it?

Other vague considerations are India & Grace. Any help appreciated!

I pronounce it like Emily, but with "Rom" at the beginning instead of "Em."

Rom-i-lee

Lovely name

pookamoo · 17/12/2014 18:58

ohmy are you sure it's not "Ottilie" ?

Littlefish · 17/12/2014 18:57

Etoile is the French word for star and should be pronounced more like "et-wahl". It's really hard for me to write the pronunciation, but it certainly isn't Ett-o-lee.

BreeVDKamp · 17/12/2014 18:50

I say ROM-illy. Love it!

OhMyActualDays · 17/12/2014 18:50

I know someone who has a Romilly (Rom-i-lee) who has a sister called Etoile (they pronounce it Ett-o-lee, I don't know if that's standard, I don't know any others!) Just thought you might like that too

I really like it.

There's a news reporter called Romilly Weeks, she pronounces it Rom-illy. I like it, but there is a place near us called Romiley (pronounced the same) so not one we could use!

SpottyTeacakes · 17/12/2014 18:48

CarbeDiem · 17/12/2014 18:47

I'd pronounce it Ro-milly but I think I'd prefer it like Rom-illee.
