All lovely, would happily steal your list. I much prefer the Juliette spelling.

myotherusernameisbetter · 08/12/2014 19:50

...or Edwin?

mummybare · 08/12/2014 19:41

I would pronounce them the same way and prefer the Juliet spelling. Josephine and Reuben are also great names.

Aelfrida · 08/12/2014 19:37

Thank you, everyone! It seems I am outnumbered on Juliette! Grin I prefer Joo-lee-ETT (Juliette) to the JOO-lee ett (Juliet) pronunciation but maybe people wouldn't pronounce them differently in real life. Hmm.

I agree Clarissa is a bit frilly so think that might be off the list but Josephine is growing on me. I hadn't thought of Edmund so thanks for that one. Smile

I like Juliet (this spelling) and Reuben.

Natalie too dated, Clarissa too frilly, and the other boys' names are far too clunky for my taste.

NadiaWadia · 08/12/2014 04:24

I like all your girls' names. Maybe Josephine a bit less than the others - don't know why but I associate it with frilliness and french poodles - but maybe that's just me - prefer Joanna.

In your boys' names I only like Reuben really. Douglas is OK but seems quite dated - but maybe it's due a revival? If you want an 'Ed' name, Edward or Edmund are much nicer than Edgar.

Mutteroo · 08/12/2014 01:34

Clarissa - too fussy for me.
Josephine - don't mind the name. Dislike nn Josie.
Natalie - prefer Natalia. Don't like Natalie at all maybe because there were at least 3 in every class I was ever in at school & I didn't like any of them.
Juliette - prefer Juliet. Beautiful name.

Douglas - went to school with a Douglas who was known as Pongo (1980s Grange Hill to thank for that nickname).
Reuben - increasingly popular but goodness knows why?
Edgar - awful name, sorry.

manicinsomniac · 08/12/2014 00:40

Clarissa - quite like it. Callie and Carrie are sweet as nicknames too

Josephine - quite like it. Josie is cute

Natalie - really like it

Juliette - love it

Douglas - really dislike it

Reuben - love it

Edgar - not keen

bouncingbelle · 07/12/2014 23:45

Love Natalie (and Natalia), Juliet (spelled this way) and Rueben.

Detest Edgar and Clarissa.

The others are ok.

jaggythistle · 07/12/2014 22:24

Juliet and Douglas.

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 07/12/2014 17:31

I like Juliet. None of the others im afraid.

PrincessSlayer · 07/12/2014 17:26

I love Josephine - I know a beautiful Josephine nicknamed Joey. For boys, I think Edgar is so cool. You have an unusual yet classic name with the option of the more common nickname Ed as he gets older.
All nice choices though!

CPtart · 07/12/2014 16:54

Natalie is my all time favourite girls name, not shortened.
Josephine and Juliette are ok, again, if not shortened.
Really don't like any others , sorry.

lollygagger · 07/12/2014 16:45

I like them all. They are proper names but not super trendy or popular. Any of them would do!

carbolicsoaprocked · 07/12/2014 16:31

Love Natalie, my friend gets either Nat or Tali.
Love Juliet, not so keen on Juliette, looks too try-hard.
Love Reuben.
Don't like the others at all I'm afraid.

RJnomore · 07/12/2014 14:21

Juliet and Edgar.

Rest are awful.

(IMO obviously)

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/12/2014 14:17

I like Juliet, without the added frills.
Edgar is the best of the boys', but I don't love it. Prefer Edward or Edmund.

Guin1 · 07/12/2014 13:33

Josephine or Juliette/Juliet for a girl.
Edgar probably best of the boys.

BrightestAndBest · 07/12/2014 11:30

Not keen on Clarissa, but quite like the others. Juliet (rather than Juliette) and Edgar are my favourites.

AWombWithoutAFoof · 07/12/2014 11:29

I like Juliet (only this spelling though) and Josephine.

VixxenPlusAllTheOtherReindeers · 07/12/2014 11:28

All really bad

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 07/12/2014 10:58

Juliet (prefer this spelling) and Reuben. Dont like the rest, sorry OP.

Sophronia · 07/12/2014 10:55

Josephine and Douglas.

calzone · 06/12/2014 23:25

Juliet and Reuben.

Not Edgar. ConfusedConfused

elotrolado · 06/12/2014 23:24

Quite like Josephine, Juliette and Reuben
