Names like Ada?

I have come to really like this but DH isn't so sure. Can you suggest other names of a similar 'style'?

Not too popular though, I have a popular name and 3 close friends have the same name, so I want to avoid that. For that reason Ava and Mia, which have been long time favourites, are out.

Thoughts?

Agatha although I do prefer the Polish version which is Agata with the stress on the middle syllable

I don't think Ayda is a modern spelling of Ada - IIRC Robbie's wife is of Turkish descent.

I guess you'll be looking at turn of the century type names: Florence is a good example, although really popular now. Ivy is another, but I was shocked to look that up last night to find it's at no.66 in the 2013 chart.

How about:

Eliza
Olive
Beatrice

My grandma and her sisters were called Edna, Una and Eva. I'm not sure about Edna, but I've always thought Una and Eva were nice.

Love Ada much nicer than Ava x

I love Ada - it was my grandmother's name (Ada Florence). A more modern spelling is Ayda (Robbie William's wife).
