Joshua is nice, it's just been really popular for the past 20 years so it's a bit boring now...

Of the names you've mentioned liking I prefer Joseph and Oliver. Joshua and Riley are both nice too, but I prefer the others.

Roman is definitely the worst of the bunch, but it's not completely awful.

Louisejames31 · 02/12/2014 20:36

Thanks them 3 are my fav from the list too

Joseph, Oliver and Joshua all lovely. Dont like Riley and not too keen on Roman ( unless you have Russian links)

TsukuruTazaki · 01/12/2014 23:07

I really like it. Much better than Riley and roman.

I also love Joseph and Oliver from your choices.

Mutteroo · 01/12/2014 23:02

Fab name! No need to say anymore

Louisejames31 · 01/12/2014 22:33

I like the names Joseph, Oliver and leo but my partner doesn't, names he likes are joshua, riley and Roman.

I like it.

If it helps. my PILS were looking at Joshua for their 4th but their older children objected so they went for Joseph. I like the name Joseph (doubt that BIL is reading but if so he has a nice name!).

Racheyg · 01/12/2014 11:37

Love the name Joshua. I wanted it for my little boy but me and OH has a deal. I name if its a girl he names if its a boy. I did get Joshua as a middle name.

Doublethecuddles · 01/12/2014 09:16

To me it's a name that was popular about 10-15 years ago. For that reason I'm not mad on it, sorry.
What kind of names do you like?

SnoringNorma · 01/12/2014 03:39

I have a nephew Joshua so am very biased! Also in our family are Joseph Samuel Jack Matthew Peter Benjamin. Not sure how Jack snuck in there! And we're not overly religious.

Louisejames31 · 30/11/2014 21:44

Do you have any suggestions..

There were 4 Joshuas in my nephews nursery class of 20 or so.

It's not dreadful but it is dull and over used.

Louisejames31 · 30/11/2014 21:35

I like it I don't know if it's abit dated now though. My partner and son have picked the name. It's the only one I like out of his suggestions

I like it.

shoobidoo · 30/11/2014 15:06

I wouldn't choose it. But do you like it?

Sophronia · 30/11/2014 14:19

I prefer it as a middle name as I don't like the shortening Josh.

Alisvolatpropiis · 30/11/2014 13:41

I'm not a massive fan of Joshua but it isn't by any means a bad name.

It's just okay.
