Any suggestions for twin boys please??

I'm expecting twins in about 6 weeks, I know they are identical but don't know what sex. My husband and I like Martha, Annie, Evelyn and Orla if they are girls, not sure what combination or middle names! However we have no ideas for boys....like not one!!

We have two children already, a boy and a girl. They both have names that are on the boundary between traditional and unusual.

Please help with any suggestions.

Love Orla and Evelyn. I think 10 years ago before it was trendy, Martha was thought of as pretty frumpy, and my worry would be that it would go back to that in a few years time once it's popularity wanes?

For boys I would go for
Leo and Alexander
Patrick and Alistair
Christopher and Alexander?

I like Orla and Annie for twin girls. For boys how about Finley, Asher, Zachary, Freddie, Aiden, Atticus, Robin or Eli.

Don't think Martha and Orla go together, really. All nice though.

Love the girls names. I do like Martha and Annie a lot.
Always liked the idea of Felix and Xavier. Don't like matchy names but like the subtle 'X' link.

I must confess that 'James and Tom' have been well received by anyone who we have mentioned them to. Bland is certainly better than awful, weird or pretentious which is probably where my choices would fit! And you are right I hope my children will stand out for something other than just their names.

For girls I think we are set on Orla as we do have an Irish heritage and my inlaws would be delighted for us to acknowledge this. Maybe Niamh and Orla would work?

I grew up with a distinctive furet name and a surname that needs spelling out all the time.

Thanks to a boom in popularity of my name about 20 years ago - and on going - and a traditional English "occupation" married surname, I now have a bland name, as do my children. I love it. I like to think I sm memorable for reasons other than my name.

I love the names Martha and Orla, but not sure if they go together. Confused

If I had twin boys I'd call them Hamish and Bruce. Or Edward and George. Or Jonas and Milo.

If I had twin girls I'd call them Genevieve/Jenny/Anna/Charlotte (Lottie)/Lara I can't decide tonight.

Thank you. I really like Jude and Alexander and I love Felix. Don't think I will get my husband on board. He votes James and Tom. Lovely names but combined with our ultra dull surname are a bit bland I think.
