I really like this name. What do you think ?

Insane incestuous baddy on Hollyoaks is my first association. Obviously that'll pass.

bamboostalks · 21/11/2014 20:43

Well I think it's better than Vienna. I know a few of those. I think these sort of names like Paris etc are just not the best. They seem a bit wrong. Florence is ok though so not sure as to my rationale.

I'm not really sure why words like 'common' and 'chavvy' are seen as acceptable on the baby name topic.

AlpacaYourThings · 21/11/2014 20:42

I like it.

Chavvy? DFO.

TheNewClassic · 21/11/2014 20:39

Its not a chavvy name op.
its a beautiful name. The Siennas I have met have been gorgeous too.

usualsuspect333 · 21/11/2014 20:33

Its a beautiful name.

And fuck off with all your 'common' and 'chavvy' comments.

Findingthisdifficult1234 · 21/11/2014 20:27

Ooh so it's known as a chavvy name!

I prefer the Siena spelling too. Such a gorgeous little city.

Rox19 · 21/11/2014 19:52

Bit chavvy Serena is much nice IMO or savannah is still more unusual

NaiceNickname · 21/11/2014 18:49

Very common and not in a good way around here (NW)

shakemysilliesout · 21/11/2014 18:46

I didnt mind it but I think earlier posts have now written it off for me

ataposaurus · 21/11/2014 18:41

Think it is better if spelled Siena, like the city.
Not massively keen though, sounds too much like senna (the laxative). Also may be perceived as a bit 'common', as already mentioned.

LL0015 · 21/11/2014 18:37

Very common in London, and not in the posh circles.....
So for me no, too common (by people I think are too common)
But outside of my world, I do actually like it.

SomeSunnySunday · 21/11/2014 18:34

It's fairly popular around here (not ridiculously so, but I know a few under 5). It's not really my style - too modern - but lots of people obviously do like it.
