Very demanding wish list for girl name

Does this even exist...

I am looking for a beautiful, strong and melodic sounding full name (around 3-4 syllables) that also has a nice shorter nickname.. perhaps something fresh/sassy/friendly/tom-boy/unusual sounding. I like old and new, from any origin. I am yet to fall in love with a name.

Names maybe in the following vein although not quite hitting the spot:

Madeleine (Maddy)
Vivienne (Vivi etc)
Penelope (Penny)
Elodie (Elle)
Adelaide (Ada)

I quite like fresh and approachable sounding short names like Tess, Bea, Pippa etc but also longer versions so Philippa (although I hate that name). The full name sometimes seems a bit too 'heavy' if you know what I mean?! Not explaining myself well here..

I'm in the same boat OP! I have a Samuel and a Margaret, called Sam and Maggie. I'm pregnant with DC3 right now and can't think of a girl's name with a nickname that I like for the life of me.

Phillipa/Pippa is one I love but it would be seen as very odd around here. :(

Lucy is also nice but I don't like Lucille or Lucinda.

I love any name that could be shortened to Frankie, Anastasia and Roxanne/a shortened to Roxy.
Tabitha is lovely as well, I'd never thought of that before but I love Tabby as a nn!

I know Lorelei has been suggested, but could go to Lolly as nn, which fits your criteria. jealous that I didn't think of this when naming dd's

I don't think a child introduced as Sukey would be called Susie, though - at least until adult enough to reject/butcher any name her parents chose

I know a Seraphina who is called Finn for short which I think is really nice on a girl.

Not the prettiest name (in my opinion) but Ursula means 'bear'!

Anastasia is gorgeous. Knew one as a child who was known as Stasia pronounced Staysha. But just remembered - isn't it the main character in 50 Shades of shite? Damn

Avelyn (Ave) - only two syllables but I mean to suggest it wherever I possibly can until I persuade someone to use it, because I luffs it

I know a gorgeous little Josephina, who's known as Josy (with more of a z sound than a s, iyswim - more like Jozy than Josie).

If you like the Jess shortening, what about Jesanne - more of a "Jez" sound at the beginning, but could conceivably be shortened to Jess (or Jez, or Anne/Anna/Annie)

Viola (Vi) - looks short, but it's three syllables so sounds longer iyswim
