Annie.
I asked this question about a month ago and I thought we had settled on 'Ellen'. But neither myself or DH love it, absolutely nothing wrong with it, just not sure...
So back to the drawing board.
Our requirements are, we need a name:
- that is easy to spell without asking, our surname is very short but you have to spell it out to everyone twice and still they get wrong.
- that goes with Annie, so nothing crazy modern (like Ivy Blue) or overly princessy (like Isadora)
- Nothing in the top 20 names, both DH and I have them we were both one of many at school and still one of many many at work, and I hate it.
Names that we like but we can't use:
- Maggie (both sets of GPs can only see Thatcher)
- Megan, Tessa (people we know that we don't want to name after)
- Elizabeth (only nn we like is Beth, doesn't work with Annie, or I like Buffy
)
- Eilidh (no one can spell it!)
- Elsie / Elsa (stuupid frozen)
Names that are still up for consideration:
Ailsa
Ellen
Iona
Any thoughts? On either, names for consideration, names we can't use or other names we should consider...
