Me: what do you think we should call your new baby sister?
DS (9): (unhesitatingly) Canada.
Me: why???
DS: because she'll never get teased; nearly EVERYONE likes Canada.

A girl would be CeeCee and a boy Fark according to our three year old. Who is sure it's a boy. Fark is the word that Daddy says when all the Rice Krispies end up on the floor.

dc1 (then 11yo) wanted to call dc4 Asterix because she thought it would be funny She was the first to suggest the name we would end up using for dc3 though (Penelope).

There was a family a while ago in my local paper where the mum had got pregnant unexpectedly. She had older children and asked the children what they thought and what the baby should be called. In true teenager style they replied 'cool'. So Cool it is. I think he must be about 10 now.

I'd pick North Korea. Yes it's a bit divisive but it would make more of an impact than dull old Canada.
