I'm Indian hindu, my husband is white catholic. We're expecting our forth baby.
Our eldest son is Dhillon, next is Ria (girl) and our third is Rohan (boy). Not sure what we're having next but would like some suggestions of a hindu/Anglo mix that would go with our above names.

I'm thinking for a boy;
Tarun, arjun, chetan or bodhen

For a girl;
Anya, anjali, maya or shyla

I'd really appreciate your opinions on above please and further suggestions. Thank you for any help.

My favourite Hindu boy's name is Nayan, and although it isn't a name you usually hear in any other culture, I think it would fit in quite well with the kinds of name that are popular now (lots of -an endings, like Nathan, Kieran etc). I think Arjun is my favourite of the names you listed.

Anjali is very pretty. I knew a girl at school called Anjana, which I also liked.

Friend in similar situation has a daughter called Tara.

Not keen on your boys names so far.

I love Arun.

How about Jaina for a girl? I also like Neha.

DraaaamaghAlpacaaaagh · 26/10/2014 17:33

Arun for a boy, and Tara for a girl.

Letitgoletitgo · 26/10/2014 13:47

For your girls options, I like Maya and Anya the most. I'm not too keen on the boys options tbh. I don't thik they flow as nicely with your DCs names. Some other suggestions:

Boys

Nathan
Krishan (nn Krish)
Jayan (nn Jay)
Reece

Girls

Amber
Saaya
Jasmine
Alina
Anni

NerfHerder · 23/10/2014 23:19

I was going to suggest Rohan! Smile

Taran (with an 'a') is a Welsh name- means thunder.

Inkspellme · 23/10/2014 23:08

How about Sashan for a boy?

Vajazzler · 23/10/2014 22:55

I'd like to add Kiran to your boys list and say I love all your girls choices x
