What do you all reckon to Lucy?

Love it, only one Lucy in our DDs class.

in2theblues · 27/10/2014 22:07

Love it. Latest Lucy I've met looks like Audrey Hepburn but handles cows like a Brick.

AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves · 27/10/2014 22:01

Lovely name.

Mind boggling at the idea of positively looking for unwholesome names for your child...

winkywinkola · 27/10/2014 21:55

Love it.

Kids make nicknames out of anything. You can't win on that front.

hashtagwhatever · 27/10/2014 21:54

My name. Prepare for juciy lucy or lucy locket to be used frequently.

Mostly my name is shortened to Luce which I dont mind but I hate being calked lou.

PurpleTurtleDove · 27/10/2014 21:48

Love Lucy. It's one of my favourite names and if I have a daughter she'll be called Lucy.

fredfredsausagehead1 · 26/10/2014 15:20

Beautiful name Smile

Letitgoletitgo · 26/10/2014 13:45

Lovely name - go for it!

maggiethemagpie · 24/10/2014 22:46

Prefer Lucille

moxon · 24/10/2014 18:34

Perfect in every way.

Kim82 · 24/10/2014 02:09

I love it, it would have been Ds' name had he been a girl (coincidentally we named him Ben). It is dd2's middle name.

Riverland · 23/10/2014 20:54

Do not like at all, sorry. I'm in the extreme minority, I think! I find it twee and overly wholesome, to use a word up thread which phrased it well.

TwoAndTwoEqualsChaos · 23/10/2014 20:53

Was a strong contender for DC4 (but it wouldn't have suited him!).

DeathMetalMum · 23/10/2014 20:51

Lovely. One our dd's may have had it if their cousin wasn't called Lucy. Said cousin has a brother called Ben so certainly fits together imo.

HavingAnOffDAy · 23/10/2014 20:51

Love it

I have one so am biased though Smile

ScrambledEggAndToast · 23/10/2014 20:49

Lovely, would have been DS's name had he been a girl.

TsukuruTazaki · 23/10/2014 20:48

I love it

Nocturne123 · 23/10/2014 20:47

Lovely name and any Lucy I've ever met has been pretty !

IgnoreMeEveryOtherFuckerDoes · 23/10/2014 20:45

Love it but I'm biased as its my teens name

DraaaamaghAlpacaaaagh · 23/10/2014 20:40

I love it.

Aherdofmims · 23/10/2014 17:10

Love!

BlueStarsAtNight · 22/10/2014 11:18

I like it. Not too keen on Luce or Loo as a shortening though. It's on my future middle names list!

Squtternutbaush · 22/10/2014 10:51

I like it.

Works well for all ages and is popular without being overused.

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 22/10/2014 10:45

*boom im the opposite I have a long name and always wanted a short name.

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 22/10/2014 10:43

I'm biased s dd(8yr) is Lucy. Its a lovely name. Classic without being common (as in overly popular). DD goes to a far sized school and only one other lucy the year above her in yr5.

She is mainly Lucy, sometimes Loose, Looby loo, Lou lou, but mainly Lucy.
