A friend has a baby called Harlan - don't know if that is much better mind to be honest (I always want to finish the name by putting a "d" on the end!)

I don't like Harlow as a name at all.

If she likes surnamey names, Marlowe (like the playwright) might be one for her to consider?

They really don't go. I really don't like Harlow at all - Emmeline is such a pretty name though.

No, they don't go. Harlow is horrendous and Emmeline is lovely. Anyone anywhere near London/the South will just think of the place, which isn't very nice!
