Phoebe Grace or
Darcey Grace

Know they aren't unique, probably there tonnes and tonnes of girls with these names etc but I like them!

Which would you pick?

I think Grace is the nicest name. Don't mind Phoebe but I don't think it goes with Grace. Not keen on Darcey at all.

squoosh · 19/10/2014 00:45

Phoebe.

By a long shot.

Lovely name.

WhereHas1999DissappearedToo · 19/10/2014 00:49

Darcey Grace.

sunflower49 · 19/10/2014 00:52

Phoebe. Darcey makes me thing 'Ooh Mister Darcy' I know it shouldn't.
Not only that reason, though. I think Phoebe is soft sounding but classic, so would suit no matter what sort of personality your DD has.

I know a Phoebe, but I didn't know she was a Phoebe at first, she gets called 'Bee' all the time (or B, perhaps?). :)

Darcey is lovely

moxon · 19/10/2014 07:49

Another vote for Grace. Gracie nn, since you wanted a first name ending on an -ee sound.

PrintScreen · 19/10/2014 07:53

Phoebe.

I have a feeling that Darcey is becoming what Tracey was in the 80s.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 19/10/2014 16:54

Darcy Grace. Don't like Phoebe and don't like the E in Darcy.

fancyacupoftea · 19/10/2014 19:30

Darcey for me. Although I like Darcie as a spelling for some reason.

Pandora37 · 19/10/2014 20:53

Definitely Phoebe.

squeak2392 · 19/10/2014 22:01

Phoebe

Tranquilitybaby · 19/10/2014 22:52

Darcey but I'd spell is Darcie x

Surfsup1 · 20/10/2014 04:05

Phoebe!!

scaevola · 20/10/2014 06:03

Phoebe Grace is an Eddie Stobart truck. One of the well known ones; one they sell toys of.

scaevola · 20/10/2014 06:05

(There is a Darcy Grace too, but I don't think anywhere near as well known)

OwlCapone · 20/10/2014 07:14

Phoebe.

I loathe Darcey and always have.

LoopyLoopyLoopy · 20/10/2014 07:18

Grace.

Can't bear Phoebe. Sounds like cotton wool in my moth. Darcey is OK.

How about Charlotte Grace?

Squirm · 21/10/2014 11:36

Phoebe.
Darcey the new Stacey perhaps?

BBQsAreSooooOverrated · 21/10/2014 11:37

Phoebe :)

cherrybombxo · 21/10/2014 11:56

Phoebe just makes me think of the scene in Friends with Rachel's sister who keeps calling Phoebe "Emma":

"Feeebeee"
"...that's a funny noise!"

FoxgloveFairy · 21/10/2014 12:10

Another vote for Phoebe here.

EmberElftree · 21/10/2014 13:52

I like Phoebe it's cool and unusual - are you a Colin Firth fan?

northgoingzax · 22/10/2014 05:29

Phoebe definitely- probably because I know a guy called Darcey

KoalaDownUnder · 22/10/2014 05:49

I am one of the few mumsnetters who really dislikes Phoebe, I think it sounds silly like a frisbee, and feeble.

I'm the other one. Wink

Phoebe is one of those names that looks much prettier than it sounds, IMO. See also: Jasmine.

Much prefer Darcy or Darcey.
