I think we would have ended up with either

William (Bill)
Joseph (Joe)
or Thomas (Tom)

all v boring really - I really like the shortenings but not the longer versions. Dh didn't like any off my list.

We didn't have a short list for DS1 as I wanted to name him after my grandad. He's Frederick Thomas but only ever known as Freddie.

For DS2 we had Henry, George, Albert and William. He's Albert Henry but has been Bertie since before he was born.
