I've always loved beatrice but really like tabitha too. I already have a dd called daisy. Which goes best?

Another vote for Beatrice.

Ruth10 · 13/10/2014 10:58

Ooh hard one, I love both! I prefer the nn of bea though rather than tabby or tabs.
Let us know what you choose!

YonicScrewdriver · 13/10/2014 00:13

Beatrice.

Sophronia · 13/10/2014 00:08

I like both but I think Tabitha goes better with Daisy.

BlueStarsAtNight · 12/10/2014 14:42

I vote Beatrice. Tabitha always screams cat to me, even though I know some children called Tabitha.

pilates · 12/10/2014 08:42

Def Beatrice.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 12/10/2014 01:24

Another vote for Beatrice.

CarriMarie · 12/10/2014 00:25

I prefer Tabitha and think it goes better with Daisy.

hashtagwhatever · 11/10/2014 21:05

I vote Tabitha. Beatrice has a old lady feel, and not in a good way.

oaktober12 · 11/10/2014 21:02

A vote for Tabitha from me!

FoxSticks · 10/10/2014 20:50

I like them both, I really like Triss as a nickname for Beatrice.

natenewt · 10/10/2014 20:50

I have a Tabitha, so my vote goes with that, and she loves being likened to a cat! We also nearly had a Beatrice too, but it didn't go with our surname.

fizzymittens · 10/10/2014 20:47

Tabitha. Tab for short.

Montsti · 10/10/2014 20:16

I like them both, but probably prefer Beatrice. Difficult choice!

Bamaluz · 10/10/2014 20:03

Tabitha - lovely name.

ralinax294 · 10/10/2014 19:48

I prefer Beatrice.

winkywinkola · 10/10/2014 18:20

Tabitha but I like Beatrix too.

Not Beatrice.

beakerandburette · 10/10/2014 11:18

Tabitha!

squoosh · 10/10/2014 10:46

Tabitha is lovely.

Beatrice is frumpsville.

DecaffTastesWeird · 10/10/2014 10:28

I love Tabitha! Not such a fan of Beatrice... It somehow sounds matronly to me.

ICanTotallyDance · 10/10/2014 08:43

I think they are both lovely but that Beatrice goes better with Daisy. Also, it has a lot of cute nicknames (e.g. Bea, Betty, Trish, Trixie, Betsy etc).

It doesn't have any negative connotations for me (certainly not old maiden aunt!) but I don't think you can go wrong with those two names, really.

goingrunningtomorrow · 10/10/2014 08:37

Have a Tabitha. Very cute and lots of nice shortenings - tabby, Tilly, tibby etc.

burgatroyd · 10/10/2014 08:34

Beatrice vote here!

Other similar names...

Cordelia, nn Coco
Josephine, nn Jojo or Posy

IamHelenaJustina · 10/10/2014 08:18

Tabitha is a cats name to me. Beatrice is a heroine. I'd go with that.

moxon · 10/10/2014 08:13

I think Daisy and Beatrice go better together. They sound like kind siblings.
