What are unusual names that have stood out for you in your dc's class?

There is an Alaska which makes me smile every time I hear it and a Francesca and Emma which are nice because they are names that I hardly hear on children.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I once went out with a guy called Destiny
(But ours was not to be together)

DS has a little friend Sunny
Every time I see them playing together I want to burst into song

....even though the sky was filled with rain
Oh oh Sunny

MummyBeerest · 09/10/2014 00:34

I met a little girl named Winsome once. She really lived up to her name!

A woman I met named her little baby Hazel-not unusual really, but she called her Hazelnut as she was so tiny. I loved it!

moxon · 09/10/2014 00:14

Aw, little Wibbly

elQuintoConyo · 08/10/2014 23:25

DS' best friend is called Kevin. They're aged 3.

I know three boys named Roc, all under 7yo.

Little boy called Odin at nursery, and a little girl Bowie. Both super cute.

Came across a Pinky Dawnbush once which seemed a little suggestive.

WildGeese · 08/10/2014 23:01

spiderlight - my great grandmother was called Gin. I think it was short for Virginia?

MoonlightandRoses · 08/10/2014 23:01

Devora Grin - and was she?

Dimple's the most unusual one I've come across of late.
