What names would you choose?

There are lots of names that my dh and I don't agree on. If you could use any name you wanted, what would it be?

Personally I'd be using Sally, which I have loved since I was a girl. I'd also use Elijah, but DH won't hear of it.

I wanted Daniil, Maxim (after my brother, who'd died) and Ksenia. DH vetoed them for being 'not English enough'. We named them names working in both countries, but they're fairly boring (think along the lines of Anna) although I love the names now!

Ralph (with a silent l) and Celeste. Ralph would be horribly wrong for DS, but Celeste would have suited DD down to the ground.

Felix- for a boy dh said It reminded him of the cat food Hmm
Ended up with a Cosima (Mimi) which I adore even more then Darcy I just hadn't heard it till a friend suggested it Smile

I really love Elijah. The only one I know is Elijah Wood. I love unusual names. Our DS is Ruben. If I had a 2nd son I would choose Raphael or Elijah. (only my OH doesn't like Elijah that much as he doesn't like it shortened to Eli)
For a girl I love Evelyn and Freya

I'm also a Jessica and detest Jessie.i don't think I'd even answer to it, as I don't associate it with my name at all. Just about tolerate it from my 6 year old cousin.

My name is Jessica and I haaaaate "Jessie", I refuse to answer to it. Jesse is the male version and is a stand-alone name.

As Alyx said, Jude is a biblical boys name.
Jessie is a variation of Jessica. Not keen on the longer version!

Jude is a biblical boys name. I really like it.

And Jessie I would say is girls, probably short for Jessica. Jesse for boys.

Isn't that the wrong way round FranksBobot? I would have said Jessie is a boy's name and Jude a girl's name. Confused
