What names would you choose?

There are lots of names that my dh and I don't agree on. If you could use any name you wanted, what would it be?

Personally I'd be using Sally, which I have loved since I was a girl. I'd also use Elijah, but DH won't hear of it.

Darcey if DS1 was a girl.

DH didn't like it. Luckily we had 2 boys, both of whos names I adore.

BUT I got my way with DDs because ExDP was only fussy about them having Italian middle names after various family members.

We agree on 1 but he doesn't like 2&3.

We have a Hungarian surname so its proving quite tricky.

Noah Maddox - DP hated it and Noah had suddenly become mega popular so I didn't want it.

I vetoed Aldous, William and Noel

DP vetoed Beatrix

If we had another, DP would veto Ezra (couldnt have it anyway - friend's name)

Oh so many.

Oliver and Elliot for a boy.

Chloe and Autumn for a girl...those are just the ones I definitely love.

My DH (and everyone else) hated Seraphina... But I still used it Wink

I liked Rafferty for a boy but had 2 DD's.

I would have Arthur for a boy and Jessica for a girl :) I love both but dh didn't agree :(

I had a great aunt Echo and I always loved her name in a family consisting of siblings Dorothy, Shirley, Ralph, Fred, Alfred, Norma AND Norman.

Camille and Louis - dp's step-dad is called Louis but we didn't know this at the time. He just thought both names were old fashioned...

So, dd got Isadora - the only name we agreed on which I do love and really suits her.

Ariana Joy or Rosalie Grace for a girl and Christopher (Kit) Joel for a boy.

I would have an Alexander instead of a Gabriel, DP vetoed it because both our names begin with A.

If I didn't have to consider DH or other people's opinions at all then I would name a DD Priscilla. No one else seems to like it and I am glad I never mentioned it to DH before we got married as I think I really fell in his estimations once I suggested it! Blush Smile

For a boy I think it would be Hamish, but DH went to school with a couple of idiot Hamishs and he can't get past that.
