Help!! Difficult choice of boys names: Sean, Daniel or Balonz?

Dear MNers. Hoping you might all be able to help us out as we’re having real difficulty agreeing a name for DS due soon. For DD, we went 'rare'. Weren’t sure we were quite ready to find some ultra-weird name, but equally there are millions of Kates, Elizabeths and so ons.

For DD though, we’re thinking a much more traditional name, perhaps inspired by close friends/family. What are MNers’ thoughts on either Sean, Daniel or Balonz? Many thanks in advance!

Sean sounds like a trouble-maker's name to me. Daniel is ok.
Balonz - is it a Disney character?

Balonz?? I've heard many names (I am a teacher) but never that one.

Sean is fine, Daniel would be my pick of those three, it's a nice spellable name with appealing nicknames - Danny for a toddler and Dan when he's older.

I like Daniel best because that's my DS's name Smile and it can be shortened easily if he wants.

Balonz is too close to the French word ballons which is what DP and I call testicles. That would be a no Grin .

Daniel is lovely.

Sean is ok but as an Irish person it's a bit dated to me.
