Is unusual but still recognizable as a name?

Wolfie. I LOVE that name.

babyblabber · 01/10/2014 13:19

ps remember these things can change quickly! Noah was extremely unusual when we named DS, so much so that my parents were really not in favour, they thought it was some crazy footballer's wife type name or something. now it's number 10 on the baby name list (in Ireland!) and completely normal, almost common (GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! Angry)

babyblabber · 01/10/2014 13:14

glad to see Penelope mentioned a few times as it's now top of our list if this bump is a girl!

i also like Amaya which is a Spanish name and we have Luca for a boy which isn't crazy unusual but not heard very often.

other names I've rarely heard are Hadley (girl), Mabel and Fodhla (irish but very unusual, girl's name).

know a little Elijah who's gorgeous.

CitronVert · 01/10/2014 11:33

Struan for a boy (I have no Scottish connections so would be unusual for me)

Sorrel for a girl

Mammanat222 · 01/10/2014 11:24

Finn for a boy

Indiana for a girl.

Although I think we're going for Beatrice for this baby.

FoxSticks · 01/10/2014 10:43

Love Genevieve, but our surname is a mouthful so it wouldn't go.

I also like Joss, but don't think we are hipster enough to pull that name off plus the first part of our name is Os, and Joss Os is probably a bit silly.

That may be Legion :o Angus is nice though!

I absolutely love the name Angus but I'm guessing it would be difficult, if not impossible to pull off in the mid west Grin

Totesnamechanged · 30/09/2014 18:46
