Gabriel
Esme

Love them!

Lucaslovesfelicity · 26/09/2014 20:57

Thanks for all the positive comments Smile I think Edward/Gabriel for the boys and Juliette/Esme for the girls seem to be the winning names at the moment. Thanks again for all the other suggestions too, it has been really helpful Smile

Great lists. I like most of them. In order:
boys - Edward, Felix, Rex, Barney
girls - Esme, Saskia, Juliette, Rosalind

Legionofboom · 26/09/2014 15:19

Gabriel Green was a ufologist.

I like Edward nn Ted or Ned
and
all your girl names

TempsPerdu · 26/09/2014 15:19

Gabriel
Edward - both of these are great

Phoebe (although Phoebe Green is a bit rhymey)
Juliette (prefer Juliet - less frilly)
Rosalind

*love

DecaffTastesWeird · 26/09/2014 15:07

Also live Iris Green or Rose Green! Don't think the flower names are a problem at all.

DecaffTastesWeird · 26/09/2014 15:06

Hi OP

I really like your girl names! My favourites are:

Phoebe
Matilda
Esme
Rosalind

For boy names, I love Edward and Nicholas but I don't really like Rex; I immediately just think "King" which I don't like as a name personally. I know a few little boys called Rex though, so think I am in the minority there!

squoosh · 26/09/2014 12:48

Gabriel
Rex

Juliet
Saskia

are all great

pilates · 26/09/2014 12:28

Edward and Esme

Lucaslovesfelicity · 25/09/2014 22:57

Thanks for all the suggestions. I do like Rosamund so will see which one Dh prefers out between that and Rosalind. Yes, we have a Felicity in my family Magic, so can't do that one... Love it though. I too have missed the concern over Gabriel Green. Have I missed something completely obvious? Thanks everyone :)

neilGrin

I also like suggestion of Rosamund.

magicalmrmistofelees · 25/09/2014 20:30

Edward, Gabriel, Phoebe and Iris. Was going to throw Felicity into the mix (I have one so am biased) then noticed your username and thought it might be taken.

Alisvolatpropiis · 25/09/2014 20:17

Ditto 3little what is wrong with Gabriel Green?

3littlerabbits · 25/09/2014 20:14

Hold on! Marmaladegranny, what have I missed about Gabriel Green?

3littlerabbits · 25/09/2014 20:13

Gabriel
Juliette

marmaladegranny · 25/09/2014 20:11

All your girl's names are great, though personally not keen on Saskia.
For a boy PLEASE don't go for Gabriel - it's a lovely name but not with your surname. I have reservations about Rex as two one syllable names don't work IMO

Badvoc123 · 25/09/2014 19:59

Edward and rosalind

shakemysilliesout · 25/09/2014 19:56

I like barney! Anyway- like them all except saskia and Rex.

I worry esme is getting more and more popular- if that bothers you.

peachypips · 25/09/2014 19:53

If popularity of name is an issue, then your boys names are pretty good, but there are a lot of Phoebes, Esmes and Matildas around here.

How about:

Rosa
Coralie
Seraphina

(I fantasise a lot about girls' names due to having only sons!)

neiljames77 · 25/09/2014 19:00

I can see your problem regarding your surname.
Some friends of mine wanted to call their daughter Occasiona but they couldn't because their surname is Lee.

Trisarahtops · 25/09/2014 18:54

Caleb, Rupert, Christopher, Michael

Caroline, Hannah, Catherine, Lucy, Sarah, Susannah

(Siblings of people with names on your list)

moxon · 25/09/2014 18:47

Wow. We had a very short list (three boys' and three girls' names) for recent DC, and three of your names corresponds (one boy's/two girls'). Freaky! Grin

Jemimapuddleduk · 25/09/2014 18:32

Lovely list of names.
I would go for Felix or Nicholas
Beatrix or Rosalind (have you considered Rosamund? - this was our choice if our 2 week old ds was a girl).

Alisvolatpropiis · 25/09/2014 18:29

Ummm...

Sebastian, Dorian

Aurelia, Alice

To be honest all your names are great, except Barney.
