Middle name for Georga?

I like to use meaningful names in the middle spot - eg DC1 has the name of my grandparent who had died the year before, and DC2 has the name of DH's grandad who died the week before.

Any significant women in your life you'd like to honour?

I agree with pp that it's usually Georgia - is yours a typo or a deliberate spelling? If so is it pronounced the same?

No fraid not, we already have a Tilly and didn't give her a name from one side of the family as other side would of been disappointed and didnt want two middle names. Therefore wouldn't like to give second DD a meaningful name and leave Tilly out.

Call your child what you choose but please can I please appeal to any parent going for a non traditional spelling to think about the bloody fifteenth hundred explanation or incorrect pronunciation or spelling of name to consider if the more obvious one really is that bad??
I say that as some one with such a name and as such will be calling all my kids names that spell as they essentially sound or are understood in the voluntary of residence!!

Spell it Georgia, or you'll look as if you can't spell. It's pronounced the same, you know...

If you want people to say it like George-a, then definitely go for the Georgia spelling, or you and your dd will have a lifetime of correcting people and it will drive you up the wall Smile I think Georgia Daisy is lovely btw
