Rightio holy
So...fairy, I take it you will be moving wee Georgia Daisy to Arran? Grin

HolyQuadrityDrinkFeckArseGirls · 25/09/2014 16:45

Ok, moxon, I thoughtyou were shutting me down. My mistake.
Things odten get lost in translation on the screen.
P.S. I know exactly what sort of a forum this is Grin

Thank you for everyone's opinions! We will be spelling it Georgia and have decided to go with Georgia Daisy. purely because whenever we ask bumps eager big sister to be what she wants to call baby she says Daisy (in the night garden fuelled response) so we will let her give it as a middle name!

loved georgia violet though! thanks peeps

Georgia Rose is lovely !

fasterthanthewind · 25/09/2014 11:47

Georgia can be said either
Jaw-geea

or

Jaw-ja

But not Jaw-ga, which is I think what you want?

I think you want a one syllable middle name: Georgia May? Georgia Rose? Georgia Grace?

moxon · 25/09/2014 11:42

Um. I wasn't being critical? Confused I was just adding a thought about alternative spellings if she maybe liked them? Weird response to an innocuous sideline comment holy?! (This is a fairly nonaggressive forum, and I certainly wouldn't be snappy about this sort of thing when responding about baby names. But next time I'll add a smiley to avoid confusion...) Confused

HolyQuadrityDrinkFeckArseGirls · 25/09/2014 08:03

OP didnt say she wanted to use Jorja Hmm
It was in reply to another poster moxon, if that's ok by you.

moxon · 25/09/2014 07:48

I don't think fairy is Mexican (although I stand to be corrected). So maybe Georgia is best all round.

HolyQuadrityDrinkFeckArseGirls · 25/09/2014 07:14

Apparently Jorja is a legitimate way of spelling the name. Mexican or something.

BikeRunSki · 25/09/2014 05:53

moxon you might be thinking of Jorja Fox. Her middle name is An.

DontDrinkAndFacebook · 25/09/2014 05:53

Just because there is evidence of someone else in America doing it, doesn't make it a sensible or intelligent option!

BikeRunSki · 25/09/2014 05:50

Georgia Anne

moxon · 25/09/2014 05:39

By the way, definitely go for Georgia with an I, but isn't there an a American actress spelled Georga? I seem to vaguely remember it from off the telly?

moxon · 25/09/2014 05:36

Georgia Vivienne ...? It doesn't have the punchier feel of shorter middle names like Georgia Rose or Georgia May, but it sounds very classic IMO. Especially if you had a shorter surname.

DontDrinkAndFacebook · 25/09/2014 03:44

fairy can I just be another one to beg you to spell it Georgia?

The absence of the i will lead to the poor girl having to correct everyone her whole life over the pronunciation, as the will Jor-ga with a hard G in the middle, which will make her sound like a cyborg from a Transformers film.

I think Georgia Rose is pretty hard to beat, you really can't go wrong with Rose as a middle name, but Violet, Mary and Kate would work well too.

bouncingbelle · 25/09/2014 03:28

Georgia Ruth
Georgia Rae
Georgia Fleur

But please, please Georgia not georga

icedfingers · 25/09/2014 00:07

Please please spell it Georgia to make your daughters life so much easier, its such a beautiful name spelt correctly (another biased one). We went with Eve but found most names worked well, although I do prefer the one syllable. Good luck hope you find one you love.

Wishfulmakeupping · 24/09/2014 20:39

Georgia is beautiful- best name there is
please spell it that way though the other way looks odd.
Georgia Daisy is sweet
Georgia Violet
Georgia Pearl nice also

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 24/09/2014 20:09

Georgia Fern

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 24/09/2014 20:08

Georgia Daisy doesn't really flow if my opinion matters a jot.
Georgia-Mai
Georgia-Louise
Georgia_Marie
Georgia-Rose
Georgia Alice

buttercrumble · 22/09/2014 20:39

Georgia May Smile

Honeezreturn · 22/09/2014 20:34

Georgia Rose is my favourite, congratulations

charlieheather · 22/09/2014 20:31

Georgia Eloise?

GilbertBlytheWouldGetIt · 21/09/2014 23:13

Georgia is a lovely name, and would suit almost any middle name.
