Bunny.
After Kieran (babies father) apparently decided against Duchess or Duchess Kate.

I have a relative called Bunny, I think in her case it is short for Bernadette.

I read that too Nacho obviously a not very well veiled dig at Katie Price's naming skills although he's just made the child feel even worse she probably gets enough comments about her name without Dad drawing even more attention to it poor girl :(

On the subject of Princess Tiaamii's name - in a mag today Peter Andre's said 7 year-old Princess hates the Princess part of her name and no longer wants to be called it.

Not my cup of tea but each to their own I suppose. No doubt in a couple of months the name will rocket up in the 100 names list as someone's going to follow suit.

Not sure if Bunny has a middle name but the other's aren't that bad.

Harvey Daniel Price (named after Katie's granddad and brother)

Junior Savva (Savva to do with Pete's dad)

Princess Tiaamii Crystal Esther (Tiaamii is a mix of Pete's mum Thea and Katie's mum Amy) not sure on Crystal but Esther was Katie's nan)

Jett Riviera - not sure if there's any link there but I quite like Jett :)

I also had a Great Aunty Bunny, she was definitely not posh (very working class) & absolutely lovely. The nickname was nothing like her real name though & I'm not sure where it came from!

I'm not sure I'd call my baby 'Bunny' if I already had a Harvey. I'd worry that I seemed obsessed by a certain Jimmy Stewart movie...

I remember Bunny and Fizz! That's one dusty, cobwebby corner of mind. I also remember Marcuuuuuuuus, and there was some old club singer too.

Regarding North West, I do not believe thats her real name either. Although the name NORTH has grown on me for a boy. To put it with west is cringe.

Her name was reported as Cadence Donda West.

Does anyone remember that v short lived soap opera 'El Dorado' in the early 90s? About Brits living in 'Marbs' (vom emoticon) there was a couple on it called Bunny and Fizz. They were awful trailer trash though. Grin

Yeah I remember when she was born it was reported as Cadence after some relative or other, then suddenly it changed to North. I would be surprised too if it actually says North West on her birth certificate.

I guess those other names are all 'real' names in my mind, because they've been diminutives of established names for decades, i.e.:

Dolly - Dolores
Dottie - Dorothy
Nelly - Eleanor
Teddy - Theodora/Theodore/Edward

What the heck is Bunny short for? Rabbit?? Grin

There is not much difference between Bunny and the other names which seem to be popular at the moment such as:

Dolly
Dottie
Nelly
Teddy

Just read on wiki that she was molested at six years old and when she did her first 'modelling' shoot at 13 unbeknownst to her the photographer was a convicted paedophile. Sad

David Badiel named his daughter Dolly and there's no difference in my book between Dolly and Bunnie except that David Baddiel and Morwenna Banks should have more sense than Katie Price and Kieran Hayler

Anything's sweet when you're 4. Or 94. But in-between? As a middle-aged woman in the workplace, for example? Unless you're a Playboy Bunny who lives in the mansion, which sort of proves my point. Hmm

I wouldn't dare use it myself but I think it's quite cute. Especially when you look at the alternatives.
