What do you think? Too much? I like it but DH is yet to come round to the idea.

Eliza Primrose sounds gorgeous.

squeak2392 · 17/09/2014 01:32

Eliza's lovely too :) How does OH feel?

Kaekae · 17/09/2014 00:10

He still isn't keen, so another suggestion I've put forward is Eliza which I adore but it is another name I am hearing a lot of lately so it puts me off a little. I am definitely not going to go with Abigail as a first name, just not sassy enough for me! Smile

Like it very much

BaronessBomburst · 16/09/2014 16:08

I had a Sindy doll called Primrose. She was the ballerina one, in blonde.

cherrybombxo · 16/09/2014 16:05

Oh dear, I don't like Pearl at all. I like Primrose (definitely makes me think of the Hunger Games though!) and Abigail.

GreatAuntDinah · 16/09/2014 06:38

Primrose Shipman.

Florrieboo · 16/09/2014 03:35

It is one of DD's middle names. I really love it but, I don't like the nicknames Prim or Rose (especially not Rose) so there was no way we could use it as a first name.

Tomfunsnumber1trolley · 15/09/2014 21:43

I like it but prefer Pearl. Abigail is a tad boring but nice enough. Agree they're very different, you might need to work on your husband.

Secretblackandmidnighthag · 15/09/2014 20:00

Makes me think about Primrose in Darling Buds of May - she was the opposite of prim! I like it.

fairyteepee · 15/09/2014 19:55

not a fan, like pearl though.

What about Rosalie?

KatherinaMinola · 15/09/2014 18:59

I think Brambly Hedge too! Not a bad association...

Lovely name.

jazzyjenbo · 15/09/2014 18:52

I know a 2 yr old primrose and she is a gorgeous, feisty little thing!!... We call her prim, shes more of a tom boy but that doesnt detract from her fab name... If my dd's middle name wasnt rose it would def b on my list.

littlejohnnydory · 15/09/2014 18:44

I love Pearl!

Floop · 14/09/2014 18:40

Awful.

I wouldn't want to label my daughter as 'prim'.

Viviennemary · 14/09/2014 18:34

I like most flower names but I'm not so keen on Primrose. Can't really say why. But I love Violet and Pearl.

Leeds2 · 14/09/2014 18:33

I quite like it, but don't think I would be brave enough ever to use it! The only one I have ever known was called Prim, as her nn.

Quite like Abigail. Dislike Pearl.

goshdarnit · 14/09/2014 18:20

I love it! it reminds me of 'My naughty little sister' and her favourite doll Rosy-Primrose. Lots of lovely childhood memories for me, and you'll have a go-to story book! Grin

Mintyy · 14/09/2014 18:07

Superb name. Please go for it!

Branleuse · 14/09/2014 18:06

i love it

MrsBungle · 14/09/2014 18:05

I love primrose but can't stand the nicknames - especially posy. Lovely middle name.

LOVE pearl.

Abigail is dull as dishwater

Love it!!!

GreatAuntDinah · 14/09/2014 17:50

Awful.

Ludways · 14/09/2014 00:28

I don't like it but I wouldn't think it was a ridiculous name. A girl at work called her dd, Primrose.
