Homeland

Previously would have said surfer dude

If I actually thought about it, the Scots origin (more so if Brodie spelling). But my first thought was Homeland.

American, trying to give a child a "different name"
I feel sure the child will in the future have fabulous teeth after many years of braces!! No idea where that last bit came from.

I love brody. A friend of mine has Brodie as a surname and all his mates call him Brodie. I was introduced to him as Brodie and now 15 yrs later struggle to think of him by his first name. I think brody as a first name suits him better than his actual name. I think it's lovely - my friend is kind, thoughtful, a good dad and a great friend so for me brody is a fab name!
