Prince James
of Princess Alexandra

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
diddl · 21/01/2015 13:31

I forgot James Alexander Philip Theo.

diddl · 21/01/2015 13:30

theres

Charles Philip arthur George
William Arthur Philip louis
Henry Charles Albert david
George Alexander Louis

Andrew Albert Christian Edward
Edward Antony richard Louis

So a bit of repetition!

MonstrousRatbag · 21/01/2015 13:30

I would be surprised if they use Diana. A daughter will already have enough pressure from media-generated Diana comparisons without them signposting it by giving her the name.

Otherwise, I suspect we make too much of historical events as reasons for or against a name. They probably worry less about those kinds of connotations than we think.

Maud? Anne? John?

Superlovely · 21/01/2015 13:24

Girl: Diana Carole doesn't sound great

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 21/01/2015 13:20

Yes they all have Louis - but all as middle names. I would be surprised if Henry was reused as a first name again so soon.

mollyonthemove · 21/01/2015 13:20

Arthur is Sarah Chatto's son (Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones)

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 21/01/2015 13:18

I also think their biggest decision will be whether to use Diana or not if they have a girl. There may be pressure from the elder royals not to - but the world will be expecting it/hoping for it.

Madcatgirl · 21/01/2015 13:18

I think we're about due another princess Alexandra, so I'm going fo for Alexandra Diana Mary.

Not sure for a boy though.

diddl · 21/01/2015 13:17

"It can't be Henry because that's Harry's real name"

So??

Don't all the men have Louis in their names/

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 21/01/2015 13:15

Gahh - PRINCE Cnut not Price - obviously.

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 21/01/2015 13:15

It can't be Henry because that's Harry's real name. It can't be Albert because Price Albert just conjures up entirely the wrong image. Maybe they'll look farther back into British royal history for inspiration? Price Cnut anyone? Can't see that causing the little one any problems Wink.

For a girl I imagine it will be something already mentioned - probably Alice or Victoria. Mildred would be fun though (George & Mildred).

diddl · 21/01/2015 08:38

Arthur Charles Henry.

Alice Diana Caroline.

ZingTheGreat · 21/01/2015 08:08

foodie

ok then, how about
boy - Elizabeth

Grin
bluecheque4595 · 20/01/2015 16:23

Gargamadua.

eatyourveg · 20/01/2015 16:19

Mary Elizabeth
Alfred Edgar

MarieJeanne · 20/01/2015 16:18

Ooh Edmund, I like that.
Otherwise, for a boy - Albert or Arthur
For a girl - Eleanor, Josephine, Victoria, Isabel or Alice.

SoupDragon · 20/01/2015 16:08

They can call the baby whatever they like but I doubt they will choose something "unroyal".

I reckon Elizabeth will feature as a middle name.

Arthur and Alice are both good guesses I think.

MonstrousRatbag · 20/01/2015 16:04

They can call the baby anything, because if s/he ends up on the throne then s/he can just chose a 'throne name' to reign under.

I'm plumping for Caroline if a girl, and Edmund for a boy.

TheyLearnedFromBrian · 20/01/2015 16:00

Gillian Faye or Leonard Simon

JoanHickson · 20/01/2015 14:41

Alice Elizabeth Dianna.

Oliver Michael Arthur.

FoodieMum3 · 20/01/2015 14:37

I thought Andrew, as they met at St. Andrew's but now I think not given the recent allegations against Prince Andrew.

I will be SO disappointed if they name a girl Elizabeth.

bouncingbelle · 16/01/2015 19:10

Girl:
Eleanor
Alice
Theadora

Elizabeth, Frances, Caroline and Diana as middle names.

Boy:
Arthur
Stephen
Benedict

Philip, David, Spencer and James as middle names.

RedandCurly · 15/01/2015 23:19

I like Richard! (Rich for short. Will and Rich)

Reckon it's a girl so Alice or Mary with mns Elizabeth Caroline
as bonsoir says, snoozeville

RedandCurly · 15/01/2015 23:16

Arthur is not posh enough surely?

RedandCurly · 15/01/2015 23:15

Mary
