Exact meaning will be dependent on the characters we decide to use, but generally they mean Emiko = smiling child Etskuo = joyful child

I like Etsuko; it would be nice shortened to Etty, too. What are the meanings of the names? That might sway it for me

Emiko, is pronounced eh-mi-ko. the "eh" would be the sound made in the word "let", the "mi" pronounced like the english word "me", and the "ko" would be pronounced like "cinco" (spanish for the number five).

I prefer Etsuko for no reason other than the way it sounds. Emiko is nice too, Miko sounds cute.

Yes, but that is immaterial. I would like others opinions on the names themselves, not whether we qualify to use them in the first place, ta.
