Im 5 days overdue and till a couple of days ago we had been planning to call the baby Annika (i love, dh doesnt) Annie for short (dh loves, im fine with it). But suddenly we are thinking of Kate. What do you think. Is Kate a nice name? I don't think it's common these days. Middle name would be Alice after both our grannies.

I prefer Annika or Anna or Annie.

Kate is a bit boring.

Kate.

I have a Kate, so I'm slightly biased.

Annie. Kate's nice but loads of Katies.

I prefer Annie.

Cert

I love Anna. I think that would be a great compromise.

Otherwise Kate is great. Of I was going for Annie, I would have Ann on the birth set as I feel Annie is a bit nicknamey IMO (bit lovely, also )

Kate

I prefer Anna to Annie. I don't like Annika. I love Anna though.

I am a Kate, and love my name, if that helps Grin

Kate, beautiful name. If we have a daughter she'd be Kate Elizabeth rose.

Bowlersarm · 05/09/2014 17:22

Kate

(Although I prefer Anna to any of them)

Kate.

My DD has the MN Alice, and when I fell pg this time around Kate was on the very short list. Im having a boy so cant use it, but I love it.

Kate Alice Surname is really nice.
