If we really love Oscar but worry about it being too popular...

... what else might we like? Has to work in English, Italian and Spanish.

Just use it. It's only popular because it's a lovely name.
There is only one Oscar in my dc school, and in all I know 3 Oscars.

Just because it's popular doesn't mean that you'll be tripping over oscars wherever you go.

Just use Oscar if you really like it. I only know of one Oscar - I think popularity is quite regional with baby names.

DD1's name was at number four hundred and something on the list in the year she was born. There are 2 with that name in her school class Hmm. I've never come across an Oscar in her whole year group!
