Baby no name needs a name

So despite knowing baby would be a girl for months she has arrived nameless. Baby won't tell me her name and the facts I have learned about her so far are that she likes eating and pooing but feels sleep is beneath her. This leaves me no further forward .....

(Long) short list at the mo is:
Louisa
Olivia (liv?)
Victoria
Cora
Julia
Juliette
Sophie
Emma
Cassandra (Cassie)
Rose
Emily
Evelyn (Eve)
Katherine
Amelia (Amy?)

Love Julia and Cora. Prefer Juliet to Juliette (too frilly IMHO). I think Emma is gorgeous and classic and not actually madly popular right now (Emily is). I have always loved Emmeline too as suggested below but I think you'd forever be correcting people who hear "Emily".

I love Emma, and think its a name that really ages well. I'd go for that if you want to use one of your DH's top 3. Much less popular than the other 2 as well. I also really like Katherine (Katie) and Louisa.

I like Louisa but h wedded to the Emma, Emily Sophie which I think are too popular and I think are little girls names. Not grown up names for you know when she's a judge or leading the UN or whatever .....

I like too many of the names in your list to be of much help!

Ones that sound nice together (unless you have another middlename picked):

Emily Louisa
Amelia Rose
Evelyn Victoria
Rose Cassandra
Sophie Juliette

Actually I really like the understated elegance of Rose as a first name. It seems to fit in well with the popular names nowadays without being a top ten name itself.

Cora and Cassandra I really like. Particularly Cassandra, Cassie when she is little, Cass when she is about to draw on the sofa with a Bic Biro ... As a full name it's a beautiful one.

Katherine has so many beautiful derivatives it's an easy one to choose and difficult to find an unpleasant nickname. If I were to change my name I'd probably choose it.

My DD is one of the most pop names and there are 4 in her year. They have to be split across two Reception classes Smile Hmm

Emily I always associate with a quiet shy child. I blame the Brontes!
I really dislike Vicky/Vicki but Tor/Tory is ok for Victoria. Little girls rarely called the filled Victoria though (unless you are cross!)

Julia is so pretty, I love it. I went to school with a Juliette if you like that? A friend has a daughter called Olivia who's nickname is Oli, so cute.

Hi, thanks for looking up those numbers. It's interesting isn't it. Dd1s name is quite common by the stats but is outrageously common in the area we live in (moved post birth). Even today at the hospital a nurse remarked on what an unusual name she had as they don't get many called that only a few miles away. (Beside the point......)

I like Cora, Cassandra and Katherine. In fact all your names are nice but I think I prefer the less popular ones - Emily, Amelia and Olivia are very high up the name lists at the moment.

I'm so glad people like them. I had started to think were all awful. Dh prefers Sophie, Emma, Emily but the popularity bothers me as we already have a child with a really common name.

If popularity bothers you then you should be aware of where your choices rates in terms of how many children were born with that name last year as some of them are even more popular on your list!:

Olivia - 2nd
Emily - 3rd
Sophie - 9th
Evelyn - 45th
Emma -55th
Rose - 68th
Julia - 82nd
Victoria - 88th
